Jack Lang, Hunter of the Dark

Today, I discovered a hero.
Whatever we thought of his actions as premier of New South Wales, it was all a facade.

Jack Lang was a hunter of evil. A killer of the denizons of the dark.

More seriously, this was a fun little thing to make. I saw a picture of him in a textbook in the perfect pose, how could I not?
Blending photos together is getting easier and easier, even without filters.

Looking again, the book seems a bit out of place, actually.

Hunter of the Dark,
Givvers van Hellsing.

Jack Lang. Unsung Hero.
Filters!

Zitless Leprechauns!

First I removed any zits on my holy visage.

Then I got kind of stuck on a leprechaun theme. I threw it through a bunch of filters to make it blend. And no, I have nothing for or against leprechauns.

There were some filters that managed to make the leprechaun look like some kind of dramatic vampire hunter guy. Guess what I'm making next?

Potatoes,
Givvers McGivney

Zitless, Sexy and Always Angry. And totally not racist to Irish.

Didn't quite work for blending. Still nice though.

MeShep

School had a system update, meaning that my (and everyone else's) data was floating through cyberspace for a while.
Which meant I couldn't photoshop.

But now I'm defending Earth from the Reaper invasion!
Making the helmet I added match the rest of the armour was the hardest part (it was surprisingly easy lining up my head).

I'm going to try editting my features next (filters, zit removal, a beard).

Sincerly,
Lord Jimmers Givney the Great.

Quick note: Click on the picture to zoom it in - you can actually see my face.

Explosion Man

I've been playing around with layers and filters and such and came up with a man with an explosion.
Can't go wrong with that.

This was surprisingly easy. I'll try swapping out a face on a different body next.

Maybe my face on a superman body.

I've also been told it isn't realistic by my scumbag friend. So, realism not dramatic colours next time.

Sincerely,
Lord Jimmers.

Starting Out

This term in IT we were told to commit to a project in which we would learn something. Some type of  software, specifically.

I chose to learn the ins and outs of Photoshop.

I've never touched Photoshop before. I didn't even know Adobe owned it. Therefore it was perfect.

I'm going to roll through the basics with tutorials and such with no particular goal. As long as I feel I've legitimately learnt something then I'm probably going in the right direction.

I'm also going to be learning how to use Blogger on the side. This blog is part of the assessment, so there's no side stepping it.
It's all a bit touchy-feely at the moment.

Do I sign this or something? I will anyway.
High Lord of Christonia,
Chris Mang.
